Honey Boxes are placed on the hives in April and in June, producing two separate honey varietals: a
Spring Blossom Honey and a Summer Blossom Honey
Spring Blossom Honey: Made from the flowers of April and May: fruit trees, honeysuckle, dandelion, clover and other flowers. The complex taste is fruity, with notes of cherry, finishing with a pleasant sour note and with a persistent sweetness.
Summer Blossom Honey: Made from the flowers of June and July: linden trees, tree of heaven, clover, Salvia and other flowers. The taste highlights linden honey flavors, bright, green melon, menthol. with a short persistence.

Nucs & QUEENS
Our nucs are raised and overwintered in Denver so you can count on their readiness to expand in your beehive. $225 for a five-frame nuc that is well matched to the Front Range ecosystem. Gentle bees, good honey production and successful overwintering. We guarantee our queens for the first 30 days - we will refund $50 for the purchase of a queen if our queen fails!
